Important Update About Dorbll >>>>>> Dorbll was launched in 2023 to offer a low-cost alternative to traditional video doorbells using a simple QR solution. In 2025, we upgraded the experience by introducing NFC technology — allowing visitors to connect instantly by simply tapping the doorbell with their smartphone. It made Dorbll faster, smarter, and almost magical to use. We’re incredibly grateful for the many happy customers who welcomed Dorbll into their homes. However, despite the positive feedback, we have not been able to make the app commercially sustainable. Our revenue model relied on “Dorbll Groups,” a paid subscription that allowed multiple users to connect to one doorbell. Unfortunately, very few customers chose this option. At the same time, every call made through the Dorbll app generates ongoing costs for us. Because of this, we were faced with a difficult decision: introduce a mandatory fee for all users or discontinue the Dorbll app entirely. After careful consideration, we have chosen the latter.
